The scan, far from the chair
The scan opens with the CBCT machine's own software, on the computer where it is installed, and not in the room where the patient is.
OCLÜ is dental software that opens DICOM scans in the browser, rebuilds the panoramic and cross-sectional slices from a curve, shows the scanner models in occlusion, and connects the case to the odontogram, the treatment plan and the lab order.
The scan opens with the CBCT machine's own software, on the computer where it is installed, and not in the room where the patient is.
Scan, photos and scanner models end up spread between a USB stick, an email and a folder.
Implant, abutment and crown, with deposits and instalments, get built on a separate spreadsheet.
In the patient's media you upload the ZIP or the CBCT folder, up to 5 GB, along with the photos and the scanner models.
You move through the axial view, adjust brightness and contrast, and measure distances and angles.
You mark the arch or use the suggested curve. The multiplanar view shows the panoramic, the cross-sectional slices every 1 to 5 mm and the coronal. On the cross-section you measure height and width.
You mark implant, abutment and crown, and the treatment plan comes out of that planning.
The patient approves the treatment plan by email, with deposits and instalments, and the lab order goes out as a PDF by email.
The scan in the browser, with a multiplanar view, a 3D view and a PDF report of the slices.
Photos and STL, PLY and OBJ scanner models, with both arches in occlusion and the contact indicator.
Implant, abutment, crown and extraction as planning actions, and the treatment plan straight from there.
Deposits and up to 36 instalments, treatments in more than one currency, and patient approval by email.
The order with patient, treatment plan, send and delivery dates and attachments, sent as a PDF by email, plus a warning if the patient has an appointment and the work is still pending.
The surgery note, signed by the clinician and by the patient.
Yes, with the DICOM Viewer add-on. You upload the ZIP or the CBCT folder to the patient record, up to 5 GB per file, and the scan opens in the browser with nothing to install. It is best used on a computer, since the viewer is driven with a mouse.
Yes. You trace the curve on the axial view, or use the suggested one, and the multiplanar view rebuilds the panoramic, the cross-sectional slices every 1, 2, 3 or 5 mm and the coronal slice. On the cross-section you measure distances and angles in millimetres, and you can download a PDF with the slices.
No. OCLÜ does not position virtual implants or design guides: you keep using your planning software for that. What lives in OCLÜ is the scan, the measurements from the appointment, the plan on the odontogram, the treatment plan and the lab order.
Yes, on every plan. The 3D viewer opens STL, PLY and OBJ. If you upload maxilla and mandible, they sit in occlusion using the scanner's coordinates, and a contact indicator colours the distance between arches. The view can be captured and saved to the patient record.
From the odontogram planning you create the treatment plan with those treatments. You add deposits and up to 36 instalments and send it by email for the patient to approve or reject. Their answer changes the status of the treatment plan.
Create your free account and upload the first scan. The DICOM viewer goes on top of any plan as an add-on.
