You show the patient their new smile on their own face, before the treatment starts. On their real photos, aligned with face detection, you design the teeth in 3D with adjustable shape, colour and position, and show them the before and after. Smile Design is an OCLÜ add-on, separate from facial aesthetics.

What Smile Design gives you in OCLÜ

Cases with the patient's photos

Each case carries a smiling photo and one at rest, uploaded as JPG, PNG or WEBP or picked from the patient's media.

Assisted alignment

OCLÜ detects the face and proposes the alignment. You adjust it step by step: horizontal plane, midline and, on the smiling photo, the outline of the lips.

Smile and rest overlay

You overlay the two photos with opacity and scale control to assess tooth display and the smile line.

A 3D smile over the photo

You pick from six tooth shapes, adjust scale, rotation, inclination and curve, sample the tooth and gum colour by tapping the photo, and edit each tooth separately.

Before and after

You save the design and a slider shows the original photo against the new smile.

A chat for the case

You add members of the clinic team to each case and they talk right there, with photos, PDFs, STL or PLY files and videos attached.

How Smile Design works, in three steps

Is Smile Design included in the plans?

No, Smile Design is an add-on contracted separately on top of any OCLÜ plan. The aesthetic assessment in that same section of the record is included at no cost.

What photos do I need?

Two photos of the patient's face: one smiling and one at rest. You upload them as JPG, PNG or WEBP, or pick them from their media.

What does the free aesthetic assessment include?

A diagnostic protocol with facial reference lines, smile analysis and dental proportions. Every assessment is saved with its date on the patient record.

Can I work the case with other clinicians in the clinic?

Yes, each case has its own chat. You add team members and they share messages and files such as photos, PDFs, STL, PLY and videos.
