Reminders and sticky notes: what needs doing and what happened, in the bell

The team's reminders, the recurring ones and the sticky notes are waiting for you on the Home screen, and everyone gets their own in the bell and by email.

What eats your time today in reminders and sticky notes

Notes stuck to the monitor

Everything pending lives on notes nobody looks at again.

Forgotten check-ups

The patient was due back for a check-up and nobody called them.

Finding out too late

The patient cancelled from the email and reception finds out when they do not turn up.

What Reminders and sticky notes gives you in OCLÜ

Reminders with a date

You enter the reminder with a date, category and description, and choose which users to notify. If it is about a patient, you link them.

Recurring reminders

A reminder can repeat every so many days, months or years, until a date or with no end.

The notice arrives that day

On the reminder's day, each assigned user gets it in the bell and by email, along with the rest of their reminders for the day.

Lists and the app

Reminders are sorted into pending, recurring and completed, with a search box by patient or description. From the OCLÜ app you see the day's and add new ones.

Automatic notices

The bell tells you when a patient confirms or cancels an appointment, accepts a treatment plan from the email or registers through the link, and when somebody mentions you in the chat.

Alerts when something fails

If the patient could not be told about a rescheduling or, with the WhatsApp add-on, a message was not delivered within two hours, OCLÜ warns you so you can get in touch.

Personal sticky notes

On the home screen each user has their own notes, with a colour and a category, for whatever does not need a date.

How Reminders and sticky notes works, in three steps

  1. You enter the reminder

Date, category, description, the patient if there is one, and who to notify.

  2. The notice arrives

On that day each assigned user sees it in the bell and in their email.

  3. You deal with it

You do whatever was needed and mark the reminder as completed.

Frequently asked questions about reminders and sticky notes

How do I leave a reminder for someone on the team in OCLÜ?

You create a reminder with a date, category and description and choose which users to notify. On that day it reaches their bell and their email, and when they deal with it they mark it as completed.

Can reminders repeat?

Yes. You choose every how many days, months or years it repeats and until what date. If you set no end date, it keeps repeating.

What automatic notices reach the bell?

Patients confirming or cancelling an appointment from the reminder, treatment plans accepted from the email, new patients registering through the link, Online Booking reservations and mentions in the team chat. Plus the alerts when a rescheduling could not be sent or, with the WhatsApp add-on, when a message was not delivered within two hours.

Who gets the notice that a patient confirmed or cancelled?

The appointment's clinician and the reception and admin staff at that location. A clinician only gets the ones for their own calendar, unless they also manage the calendar and choose to include other people's appointments.

Can I turn some notices off?

Yes. Each user, from their settings, can switch off the notice about patients confirming or cancelling. Alerts about something that failed, such as a rescheduling that could not be sent, cannot be silenced.

What are sticky notes?

They are personal notes on the home screen. Each user sees only their own, picks their colour and category, and deletes them when they are no longer useful.
